Rob Finney

Robert H. Finney is the co-founder and the President of Commerce Capital Partners, LLC.

Mr. Finney has over twenty-five years of legal and real estate experience.  Before co-founding ComCapp in 2007, he was a partner in the firm of GrayLoeffler LLC, and prior to that, he was a partner in the national law firm of Arter & Hadden.  Mr. Finney has been engaged in the practice of law since 1993.

As an active contributor to civic and professional groups, Mr. Finney lends his time to a variety of organizations in South Texas.  He is a former director of The Texas Lyceum, the state’s premier leadership organization comprised of a select group of ninety-six young leaders from across Texas whose alumni include such notable Texans as former President George W. Bush, former Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings, and former Texas Governor Rick Perry.  Mr. Finney also served as Secretary for the Maverick PAC of Texas.  The only group of its kind in the country, MavPac is a political action committee comprised of next-generation Texas leaders generally under the age of 45.  Mr. Finney also served as Texas Chairman of the Young Professionals for John McCain and South Texas Chairman of Young Leaders for Kay Bailey Hutchison for Governor.  Mr. Finney also serves on the board of the Baptist Health Foundation and The Witte Museum.

 Mr. Finney, age 50, received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Baylor University in Texas and his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School.
