International Citizen of the Year Award Dinner

Each year the Council honors a South Texan for his or her leadership in international affairs, diplomacy, or business as International Citizen of the Year. The 2011 International Citizen of the Year recipient is Graham Weston, Chairman of Rackspace Hosting who will be honored on Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the Marriott Rivercenter Hotel. This annual gala is the single most important source of funding for the Council and is vital to the continuation of our programs and our daily operations. 

Time:  6:00 p.m.-6:40 p.m. Private Coctail Reception / 6:00 p.m-7:00 p.m. General Coctail Reception

Location: Marriott Rivercenter Hotel /101 Bowie Street @ Commerce St.

The corporate support levels for this years dinner are:
World Leader Table                             $10,000 (Includes private reception)
Presidential Table                                 $7,500 (Includes private reception)
Ambassador Table                               $5,000
Dignitary Table                                     $2,500

Individual Reservation: $200

Dress code: Black Tie

Host Committee members and table subscribers will be acknowledged and listed in the invitation, formal dinner program and the World Affairs Council's printed materials. In order to provide an accurate listing of table patrons, the Council would appreciate having all sales information by December 15, 2010 for recognition in both the invitation and dinner program and by February 1, 2011 for listing in the dinner program only.
